Detroit Aura Photography Studio - Booking a Mini Session

Mini Session dates are announced seasonally via email & social media. Open Studio availability is limited to a handful of days each season, similar to a pop-up. All Mini Sessions with Eileen are by appointment only. Booking an appointment secures your time slot, which allows for one aura portrait during your session.

What to Expect

Aura Photography Mini Sessions during Open Studio are portrait sessions that include a brief overview of the colors that appear, and general meaning of what your auric state may potentially represent for you.

If you are looking for an experience that allows space for questions related to your auric state, or want to have a conversation about your colors and how they relate to your life, a Private Session is recommended.

All aura portraits are shot with rare, vintage, out-of-production professional film which makes the image created incredibly special.

While Eileen is highly intuitive, this is not a psychic or clairvoyant experience - you can learn more about her work and read her artist statement here.

Mini Solo vs. Mini Duo Session

For those interested in friends or couples portraits - we are able to accommodate 2 people together in 1 portrait. This means 1 Mini Duo Session = 1 photo with 2 people in the portrait together, showing your combined aura which reveals your relationship dynamic.

This together portrait would not reveal individual, separate auras or energies. For insight into your individual energies, you would need to book a Mini Solo Session for each individual as an add-on to your Mini Duo Session.

Attending With a Friend or Small Group

During Open Studio, we are able to accommodate intimate groups up to 3 persons. To book this type of session you would select a Mini Solo Session and “add on” either 1 or 2 additional Mini Solo Sessions depending on how many people are attending.

If you book your sessions individually at different times, there may be other people booked in between and your sessions may not take place consecutively, one right after another. For small groups of 4+ please inquire here about a Group Dynamics experience via the form towards the end of the page.
